Course Overview
Pediatric Public Health Training Course
Introduction
Pediatric Public Health is a rapidly evolving discipline focused on child survival, preventive healthcare, immunization strategies, nutrition security, infectious disease control, and health equity for children and adolescents. Pediatric Public Health Training Course is designed to strengthen competencies in maternal and child health (MCH), epidemiology, pediatric primary care, community health systems, and global child health interventions. With rising global challenges such as vaccine-preventable diseases, malnutrition, neonatal mortality, climate-sensitive illnesses, and emerging infections, there is a critical need for highly skilled professionals capable of delivering evidence-based, data-driven pediatric public health solutions.
This course integrates modern public health analytics, digital health tools, surveillance systems, SDG-aligned child health programs, and population-based pediatric interventions. Participants will gain practical expertise in child health policy implementation, outbreak response, health promotion strategies, and integrated community case management (iCCM). The training emphasizes real-world application, field epidemiology, program management, and health systems strengthening to prepare professionals for leadership roles in national and global pediatric health programs.
